1 am i cant sleep

had a thought about you and me,

knew it like a shadow in the drawer,

that flee when i went to reach.


you and i,

have never quite been you and i.

we were close sometimes,

yet always two people in distance.


there was no shades of gray,

no varied hues to see.

didn't know love could be this tough.

but un-do brings me sorrow.


you said im afraid i will love you

that's honestly what i do too.

can't stop thinkin bout you.

can't kick you,  but i try as i might.


hide and run,

high, and again i fall.

what is reality?

when we living our fantasy.


dont leave me at the shore,

drown me over in a spinning sea.

just drop me a single call,

tell me we last an eternity
